De Belgian Federation of Sports Physiotherapy is de internationale vertegenwoordiger voor de Belgische sportkinesitherapie, officieel erkend binnen WCPT - IFSPT. We zijn dan ook verheugd jullie te melden dat sinds 2019 AXXON een officiële samenwerking ons is aangegaan en BFSP erkent als beroepsgroep voor de Belgische sportkinesitherapeuten. Deze samenwerking vindt plaats binnen de ABCIG Sportkinesitherapie. Op deze manier kunnen we op nationaal niveau de aanwezige expertise bundelen en deze ook tot bij jullie, de sportkinesitherapeuten op het veld brengen.
Sportkinesitherapie is een internationaal erkende specialisatie binnen de kinesitherapie die door zijn academische opleiding over bijzondere competenties beschikt. De sportkinesitherapeut(e) staat voor:
- De promotie van een gezonde levensstijl en is werkzaam binnen de gezondheidspromotie en preventie op basis van sport- en lichaamsbeweging.
- Een klinische expert aangaande diagnostiek en revalidatie bij sportblessures, preventie van blessures, orthopedische en sportspecifieke revalidatie en prestatiegerichte training.
- Daarbovenop zet de sportkinesitherapeut(e) zich in voor een eerlijke en faire sportbeoefening, waarbij een fair play en de strijd tegen alle vormen van doping deel uitmaken van het werkveld.
We nodigen elke kinesitherapeut uit die onze passie deelt voor de sportkinesitherapie om lid te worden van BFSP om zo onze toekomst samen vorm te geven.

AXXON Congress - Call for Abstract
Dear Young Researcher/Investigator,
Dear colleague,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract for the AXXON 2025 Congress / The transition to the physical therapy of the future.
This congress will take place September 20, 2025 at the ULB-Campus Erasme, Anderlecht, Belgium.
The authors of the best 5 abstracts will be offered an oral forum during the ‘Young researchers session’ at noon. This oral presentation will last 5 minutes and will be followed immediately by (max 3 minutes of) questions from the audience. The other authors will be given the chance to host their poster during the morning coffee break and lunchtime. Posters can be shown on posterstands during the entire congress.
Since this congress will be 'a window to future challenges of physical therapy', the topic of the presentations/posters should at least contribute to the further evolution of physiotherapy in the spirit of the conference theme (detailed guideline below).
Your abstract must be send to axxon@axxon.be by 01/06/2025 to enable the Scientific Program Committee and reviewers to inform you on acceptance, at last during the second half of August 2025.
Upon submitting your poster abstract, you will receive a "Confirmation of submission", indicating that your abstract has successfully been submitted.
The Scientific Program Committee of the AXXON 2025 Congress will review the poster abstracts and information regarding acceptance, and scheduling will be sent to the corresponding author.
Only accepted abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by 01/06/2025 will be scheduled for presentation and included in the official program.
The best abstract/poster will be rewarded: 1th price (500€) |2nd price (300€) | 3rd price (200€).
Prerequisite to compete: you are a (PhD-) student or max 3 years postdoc.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
INTRODUCTION
The Scientific Program Committee is pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for Poster presentation at the AXXON 2025 Congress.
Topic of the posters should contribute to the further evolution of physiotherapy (in the spirit of the conference theme).
Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 01/06/2025. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Poster presentation is in A0-format
Posterstands are 1 meter by 1 meter. You bring your own material to fasten your poster (adhesive tape, pushpin, …).
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. Submission implies that the corresponding author has received the consent from co-authors.
Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must be registered participants. Registration must be received by 01/06/2025 to ensure inclusion of the abstract in the congress publications.

Abstracts in Word-format must be submitted in English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Dit jaar bundelt de volledige AXXON-familie- bestaande uit de twee vleugels, de federale koepel en alle ABSG’s en ABCIG’s (de subgroepen die de verschillende deeldomeinen binnen de kinesitherapie vertegenwoordigen) – de krachten om een ambitieus congres te organiseren. Het evenement biedt elke kinesitherapeut de kans om lezingen te volgen binnen zijn of haar vakgebied, maar ook om inspirerende onderwerpen te ontdekken die rechtstreeks of onrechtstreeks invloed hebben op hun patiëntenpopulatie.

Enquête: Wat vinden fysiotherapeuten van de inzet van technologie in de praktijk?
Beste kinesitherapeut,
Hartelijk dank dat u de tijd neemt om deel te nemen aan deze enquête. Het doel van deze survey is om inzicht te krijgen in hoe kinesitherapeuten momenteel technologie gebruiken in hun dagelijkste praktijk en hoe zij data inzetten om de zorg voor patiënten te verbeteren. Daarnaast willen we graag achterhalen welke technologieën u in de toekomst nuttig zou vinden om uw werkprocessen te optimaliseren, de administratieve lasten te verlichten en de patiëntenzorg verder te verbeteren.
We zijn ons ervan bewust dat de administratieve taken in de zorg een toenemende druk vormen op het werk van kinesitherapeuten. Daarom willen we ook specifiek onderzoeken hoe u de administratieve last ervart, hoeveel tijd u hier wekelijks aan besteedt, en welke technologieën volgens u kunnen bijdragen aan het vereenvoudingen van deze taken.
De informatie die u verstrekt, zal ons helpen om beter te begrijpen welke technologische ontwikkelingen van waarde zijn voor de kinesitherapie en hoe we deze kunnen afstemmen op uw behoeften en uitdagingen.
